I, The Superwoman: Martine Rothblatt

Many use the term “using entrepreneurship for a cause” – falsely. But not Martine Rothblatt. Not only she is one of the most successful CEO’s of all time, but also uses her superpowers to create change with a meaning. When her daughter was diagnosed with an illness that risked her life, she left her job at Sirius Radio (the world’s first non-geostationary satellite to car system – which she founded) to develop treatments to save not only her daughter, but many others around the world. Today, she is the CEO of United Therapeutics, a biotech company developing novel technologies to help patients with lung and organ disease. And we’re sure – there’s more for her to discover. Hear one of the most – in our opinion – underrecognised innovators of the century discuss her life, her inventions and her goals in this fireside chat.
