Public Relations is an often-neglected part of a company’s expansion strategy.
Well-thought out strategic PR ensures that a company with a product or service that will make a difference can find itself in the columns of publications rather than the ad space, usually giving it twice the credibility for half the price. But it’s not just about appearing: strategic PR ensures that you appear in the right places and present the image of the company in the right way to the right people.
For companies looking for investors, this is particularly crucial. Fourth Day, an international PR company with offices in Paris, London, Manchester and Berlin, will take you through the strategy behind PR, remind you of the simple mistakes that can be made, and guide you on your way to making sure that your company has a better reputation and image than all your competition!
This event is a TOA Satellite Event. Hurry and get your TOA Berlin festival tickets!

Open air soft yoga flow and meditation to find your zen in the middle of a city. The event takes place at the central lawn of Falkplatz Park, a pretty green corner adjoining Mauerpark, between Gleimstrasse and Max-Schmelling Halle. Bring your own mat/towel.

This talk will focus on the crucial role of continuous testing of apps and websites to stay competitive. Companies, regardless of their size, are becoming more aware of how crucial their digital representation and on-demand changes on their apps and websites for their success are. Especially in highly competitive markets, buggy and badly-tested apps or websites can quickly cost revenue and customers. The development processes of those apps and websites had changed significantly over the past few years, however, the way of how those platforms are getting tested before deploy didn’t keep up with these changes. This talk will show you the best practice of how to test your apps and websites, and how continuous testing will gain you the competitive advantage. It will be an educational, high-level talk for non-technical people.

Under the title [2Boats], the Obscuraboat and a second boat built by Hamburg photographer Claudius Schulze traveled the waterways of Europe passing photography festivals such as “Unseen Amsterdam” or “Paris Photo” in 2017. Along the way, both artists took pictures and gave workshops on environmental topics, water urbanity, and the increasingly rapid pace of global change. Join us for an evening of drinks and a salon discussion around the topic of Mythology & Society.
We are gathering a small group of journalists, influencers, creators and curious minds across multiple disciplines to share their unique perspectives. We host a modern version of salons to facilitate deeper connections, inspire presence and mindfulness and create space for the types of conversations we don’t often make time for in our daily lives.
Norn creates space for considered questions and thoughtful conversations to unfold in real life. Our homes in cultural hubs around the world are open for residencies and weekly gatherings such as salons and dinner parties that bring together foreign people and ideas. We currently operate homes in London, Berlin, Barcelona and San Francisco with more cities on the way.
The word “Norn” comes from Norse mythology, and describes the female beings who ruled the destiny of gods and men. In this salon discussion, we will question the purpose and function of myth as well as share the myths that have illuminated our own lives. Why as humans do we feel the need to create mythical creatures and invent myths? What are the myths that we tell and why do we tell them? Please join us for an evening of conversation in our Berlin home as we discuss this particularly fitting topic.

You might have heard it before – AI & robotics will replace humans in the workplace. But, not every individual will suffer. The workplace is already cracking up in profound ways through the rise of contingent work and unbounded digital platforms. Our notion of work is also changing – from wage labor to self-fulfillment. All these trends are reshaping the workforce. With them, our society, political landscapes and we as individuals change as well. This poses the ultimate question: What will we do in a few years from now? In an interactive installation, we present various solutions for different futures of work from Stockholm, Zurich, Lisbon, Aarhus and many more: What kind of learning environments support us as individuals? What kind of political solutions might help to grapple with a reshaped workforce? What new ways of working have emerged that internalize a new notion of work? Our interactive installation will take you on a tour of the cutting edge of what humans can do to create a greater future of work. And lastly, we’d love to learn about your ideas. So grab a drink, enjoy the show and discuss with us how you imagine the future of work!

Art and Technology always have an interesting dynamics. They have enriched each other, but at the same time been in conflict with each other. In this era, where Machines can encode and decode various elements in data; a debate on how it inform, disrupt , and at some times stay away from the creative process.

There is no ambiguity whether the stealing of physical objects or virtual data is considered an illegal act, but what if we steal an attribute of something that we didn’t know was there to take.
With the rise of open source technology and the ever present question of authorship, ownership and copyrights concerned with the physical, the question of piracy is inevitably arising more often.
Artist/Designer Christian Cooper uses this opportunity to question and create relationships between physical objects and our understanding of data piracy by using rising trends of new technologies and questioning the legal perspectives of them. His project is set to antagonize and stimulate reactions from brands as a way to force an outcome that may change the way in which we view our ownership over the physical world.
CHRISTIAN COOPER STOLE A CHAIR FROM IKEA
Objects are often undervalued in the attributes they possess other than their value.
An object is more than its physical presence, it has been crafted which takes time and skill, it was thought about, planned and designed, it, by being physical maps the invisible space that would be in its place and consumes and reflects the light around it.
So when we consider the idea of stealing an object do we undervalue the object by its own definition. To pick this chair up and walk out without paying is an illegal act, to replicate and sell the object is too, but capturing its presence though digital methods poses a new realm of loopholes that are far harder to justify as an act of disobedience.
To take a picture in a shop is entirely legal, but how about many pictures, what if we took so many images of an object that is physical presence can be entirely mapped in a digital 3d form that we would own ourselves.
Is this form still a chair, and more importantly, is it still Ikea’s chair.
Further more, what if I replicate that form and bring it into the physical World, am I breaking the law and stealing someone’s design even when I didn’t use design input to replicate it. And what if I called the object the same name as the previous form and tried to sell it? What if this project was so successful that I sold the chair for 10 times the price that it cost in Ikea, just because this object is used to make a statement?
This project looks to challenge and bring together physical objects and data piracy by adding a contextualization to both.
Tabula Rasa / Eitan Rieger 2017
We are living in a world where media is losing its importance to platform in an exponential speed.
We are using more and more devices which were generalized. We interact less and less with buttons and knobs, but more with flat screens that change their appearance. The idea, to create a unified holistic solution is penetrating out entire surrounding.
Which direction will our interaction with technology take next step?
Tabula Rasa is basically a simple platform. A 100 LEDs screen and an arduino board. A non disclosing yet flexible one..
Tabula Rasa takes the concept of generalized platform to a different direction. It controls the programs installed on it with gravity.
