Build your first voice experience and build your Business with Alexa Skills

    Level/Audience: Tech, Introductory

From hearing train station announcements to a pleasant conversation, voice is a natural and ever-present part of most of our lives. We had to learn to click, type, and swipe to communicate with technology. Alexa uses the most natural form of communication, speech, to provide an intuitive interface.

In this session, you will learn to build your first voice experience with the Alexa Skills Kit (ASK). Andrea will show you, how building for voice is different from building for the screen and share the latest Alexa features, including how to make money and how to promote your brand with Alexa skills. This session will take you through the design and implementation of a skill.

Please bring a fully charged laptop and create an Amazon Developer account here and an AWS account here prior to arrival.
